Cons of Mixtiles for Military Families

The biggest drawback with Mixtiles is the photo print quality.

Depending on how picky you are, you may not be satisfied with your purchase. Step back, and things look sweet. Up close, not so much. But if you’re cool with admiring from afar, you’re golden.

The Mixtiles do not have a way to remove and store properly for an upcoming move, to be able to reapply to your (new) walls later.

For the next part, I wasn’t sure if I should classify it as a pro or a con, so help me decide in the comments. I received my package with some damage. Is this necessarily Mixtiles’ fault? I mean, it could’ve been anyone at any point in the processing or shipping that damaged the box resulting in damaged tiles. (hold up, I know what you’re thinking, okay so the box had damage, obviously that’s a con… but just wait!) I emailed Mixtiles to let them know about the shipping damages, and their response was incredible. They asked for my order number, asked which tiles were damaged, and shipped new ones in 48 hours. Mixtiles is focused on client satisfaction, not just being profitable. Their same-day conflict resolution helped shape my view of Mixtiles as a company.

Similarly, my next point is also in the grey area of pro v. con. After being on the very textured walls in my dining room for two hours or so, three of my tiles popped off and crashed to the floor. Now, there’s no glass so it wasn’t hard to clean up. But my tiles sustained more damage. I emailed Mixtiles once more and they sent replacements again. They stand by their product.
